ABOUT THE SHELLEYBRANT.

Hi, I'm Shelley! And I'm one of those people that honestly, just loves LOVE.

My journey to become a Marriage Celebrant began with a 3 am lightning bolt of thought, "wouldn't it be fun to be the one that marries all my friends and family". For years I have been asked by my friends to emcee their weddings, and every time I did one, I thought, 'wow, this is the best fun ever".
So, I decided, why not? In late 2019, I embarked on my study journey and have now, recently completed a Certificate 4 in Celebrancy. 

I hope to provide personalised celebrancy services to couples that help tell their own unique love story, whilst being affordable and making the whole process as relaxed as possible. I am so very passionate about life, and truly believe that every person should have the right to marry the person that they choose and have their dream ceremony in front of their loved ones. 

So, that's enough about me, I will leave you to browse.

Weddings

I am so excited about the idea of creating a beautiful ceremony for you. So, here's what's included if you'd like me to be your celebrant:

  • Firstly, a face-to-face meeting to discuss all things wedding.

  • Preparation and submission of all documentation to legalise your marriage (before, during and after the ceremony).

  • Access to my ceremony resource booklet full of sample ceremonies, poems, readings, music and fun ideas. 

  • A ceremony customised for your special day + a copy for you to keep.

  • Practice makes perfect, so we will do a full rehearsal of your ceremony prior to the big day.

  • Performance of your ceremony (at your chosen location) with the presentation of a calligraphed Marriage Certificate. 

  • And last of all, unlimited email and phone contact with me throughout the process.

Master of Ceremonies

Sometimes, it's tough to find the right Master of Ceremonies. You might not have the perfect fit in your friends and family group or you just might want all of your guests to be guests. On your special day, I offer a 3-hour package which includes:

  • A face-to-face meeting to discuss your reception run sheet,

  • Creation of a formal run sheet for your reception, 

  • Arrival 30 minutes before your reception begins to ensure everything is ready to go, 

  • Liaising with your reception venue to coordinate all items on your reception run sheet, 

  • Ushering guests to their seats as they enter the reception, 

  • All the formalities, including welcome, introduction, bridal party entry, introducing all speeches, cutting of the cake, and first dance, and

  • And last of all, unlimited email and phone contact with me throughout the process.
