  • How far in advance should I book?

    I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (September-May). 


    That said, I understand that sometimes plans come together quickly - I can often accommodate shorter timeframes, so reach out even if your wedding is just a few weeks away. 


    The legal requirement is that we lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before your ceremony, but I'm happy to work with tighter timelines when needed.

  • Do you charge for initial consultations?

    No, your first consultation is completely complimentary with no obligation. This is a chance for us to meet (in person, over video, or by phone - whatever works for you), talk about your plans, and see if we're the right fit. 


    I want you to feel completely comfortable with your choice of celebrant, so there's absolutely no pressure. 


    Think of it as a relaxed chat over coffee where we get to know each other and you can ask me anything you'd like.

    All packages include ceremony creation, all legal paperwork (NOIM, DCLI, marriage certificate), and my presence on your wedding day.

  • Can you travel to our venue?

    Yes! Travel within 30km of Toowoomba is included in the My Story package.


    For distances beyond that (or for travel with The Essentials package), there's a small travel fee of $1.50 per km.
